Launched in 1999, Metro’s core product was designed to brighten up the morning commute for an ‘urbanite’ audience and this it continues to do as well as ever before. Metro’s content is concise, relevant and engaging, presented in a visually appealing, well-designed fashion.
Following the success of more and more online newspaper websites and apps, Metro had taken its eye off the ball and attempted to compete with the big hitters on the digital stage. However, this meant their print product had been neglected and they now needed a brochure to remind agencies and advertisers about their core product.
Working alongside Metro’s in-house marketing team a promotional brochure was created. To make sure that it stood out from other such brochures, various paper and print techniques were used throughout the brochure to demonstrate what the newspaper could offer compared to its competitors and on-line versions. The brochure was extremely well received and another print run was quickly needed.
